Perfectly sized for two, the 27FB offers all the style and comfort of the International CCD line in a package that can be towed by most half-ton pickups. Whether you're chasing weekend getaways or setting off on cross-country adventures, this Airstream is ready to go.

Shiny Exterior with Just the Right Patina

This Airstream’s classic aluminum skin still gleams, with only minor age-appropriate marks — a touch of clear coat wear near the roofline, a small dent on the refrigerator vent from a tree branch, and a bit of filiform corrosion near the door. Left rear curved panels were professionally replaced following a storage mishap, and the structure is solid throughout, with an intact original belly pan, excellent subfloor, and a well-preserved frame. The awning fabric is in good condition, now sporting a custom grommet loop after the original pull tab unraveled — a practical, charming fix.

All hatch covers, locks, and window seals are functioning as they should. The front window was replaced in 2013, and the skylights were upgraded in 2018. This trailer is weather-tight and road-ready.

Interior Comfort Meets Custom Functionality

Inside, you'll find a beautifully reimagined layout that makes the most of every inch. The original dinette and side bench have been replaced with two European-style recliners and a full-length desk with deep drawers — a highly sought-after modification among 27FB owners. Perfect for remote work, journaling, or simply enjoying your morning coffee with a view.

All countertops were upgraded to Corian, and the kitchen drawers were reworked for full-depth access. The vinyl plank flooring, installed in 2018, adds a modern, durable touch. Warm wood cabinetry remains in great condition, and the soft surfaces — including original curtains and updated pull-down blinds — maintain that iconic Airstream aesthetic.

Sleeping accommodations include a front queen bed with the original mattress, still comfortable and ready for rest. The center split bathroom layout offers a roomy shower on one side and toilet/sink combo on the other, with all fixtures fully functional.

Well-Maintained Systems and Appliances

The original 7 cu. ft. refrigerator remains in good working order, with a replaced motherboard after a low-voltage incident in 2011. The 3-burner propane stove and oven are still in regular use and perform beautifully. The microwave has been replaced over the years and functions properly.

Heating and cooling systems are reliable: the forced air propane furnace runs great, and the air conditioner was serviced with a new motherboard, capacitor, and water collection pan. The Fantastic Fans have also been upgraded. Plumbing, including the gas water heater, is original and functional — with no known leaks. The toilet was replaced in 2017.

Tanks are all original (39-gallon fresh, gray, and black) and have been professionally cleaned every few years. Black and gray water valves were recently replaced. Two 30 lb propane tanks have been recertified and fitted with new valves.

Tows Smooth, Rides Safe

With a dry weight of 6,800 lbs and a GVWR of 7,500 lbs, this Airstream is easily managed by most half-ton pickups. The trailer was last towed in March 2025 and remains safe for travel. It rides on Goodyear Endurance tires (installed in 2019), with original axles and brakes. The 2" hitch receiver, safety chains, and emergency breakaway cable are all in place and functional. A weight distribution hitch is included.

Power is supplied via 30-amp service with dual connection points, and the trailer includes two AGM batteries (replaced in 2019). There is no solar installed, but plenty of opportunity to add your own setup.
